It seems like the hub.disroot.org admin overwrote in $baseurl/app/network.apd
with something else, to let the hubzilla icon be shown for the app "Network" in the nav menu instead of the grid icon.
When updating hubzilla with git, how do such code changings affect the updating process? Is $baseurl/app/network.apd just not touched since it differs from the same file on the pull repository? Or do software updates affect such code changings?
I'm asking also because I am considering removing
from the code of some system apps like "bug report", "help" or "randprof", or maybe it's even better to remove
, because these apps are indeed useful for logged-in channels on the hub I'm administering, but not for observers (for them, they're confusing). Actually, from $baseurl/app/randprof.apd, you can't remove these values because
is the only category to which this app is assigned to (and still it is shown in the nav menu under "System Apps", how come?).
@Mike Macgirvin ⚡
that he believes the list order of the system apps is alphabetical by default. How can I change the order?
Or am I barking up the wrong tree by using the System Apps in the nav menu for a customized main navigation which stays always the same, regardless of the fact which page on the hub is visited and whether the visitor is logged in or not?
