Zap admins and developers - listen up.
We're removing the word 'master' from the codebase. I will not be debating this change and I really don't care if you agree with this action or not . Yes, I'm aware the word has more than one meaning. Any presumed justification for the context in which we have used this term is irrelevant to the decision.
What you need to know:
After your next update, you will need to change your cron jobs to execute Zotlabs/Daemon/Run.php instead of Zotlabs/Daemon/Master.php . This will not happen automatically. Everything else is the same. In six months, the file Zotlabs/Daemon/Master.php will be removed from the repository and if you haven't upgraded your cron tasks by then, your site will break. Tick, tock.
We will also no longer be using the terms 'blacklist' and 'whitelist' and will have no variables or data assigned to those names/concepts. This change requires no action on your part.
The authors of the git revision control system intend to remove the name 'master' as the name of the default repository trunk. We will be changing this to use the name 'release' for the branch currently known as 'master' to match the way we use git in this project. This will happen within the next several days once I'm certain that our own branch name change will not conflict in any way with the git developer actions.
If you have scripts to update from git, these will need to be adjusted accordingly at that time.
